In this video the host speaks with women and inquires if they have any personal defense tools on them when they’re out in public.  Most of them do not so he’s trying to educate them on the importance of being prepared in case of an immediate emergency that could be a life or death situaton.

The host works with a personal defense equipment company called CRKT.  He teaches civilian’s how to be prepared by having certain tools on hand every time they go out at night.  He mentions that the single greatest tool anyone can have is the tactical flashlight.  He instructs that you never walk down a dark corner, it should always be lit before you beginning walking in that direction.

The tactical flashlight is super bright and will cut through the darkness illuminating anything hiding.  When you shine the light on someone that could be a potential offender you want to make sure you see his hands ensuring there is nothing in them and of course blind them with the bright light.
